Litigation Paralegal - Prominent Downtown Los Angeles Law Firm

A respected and established law firm located in Manhattan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys supporting complex civil litigation matters.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil litigation experience, strong command of eDiscovery platforms (such as Relativity, Logikcull, or comparable tools), and proven success supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide trial preparation and in-trial support to attorneys
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery documents
  • Propound and respond to discovery requests
  • Manage all aspects of eDiscovery, including:
    • Data ingestion
    • Production setup
    • Privilege review and logging
    • Export management
  • Assist with trial logistics including war room management, exhibit preparation, and on-site support

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of civil litigation defense experience, preferably in a mid-size or large law firm
  • Proficiency with second-generation eDiscovery tools such as Relativity or Logikcull
  • Paralegal Certificate or BPC 6450-compliant Declaration required
  • Hands-on trial support experience (exhibits, courtroom technology, war room operations)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
